Rights and Permissions
All poetry, prose, and artwork used on Blue Mountain Arts products are protected by copyright and require written permission to reprint or reproduce. If you are interested in reprinting or reproducing an excerpt or poem from a Blue Mountain Arts book, card, or other product, please follow these simple guidelines to apply for permission.
Submit your request in writing as early as possible. While we will try to get back to you as quickly as we can, in some cases it can take up to five weeks to receive a written response to your request. To facilitate your request, we ask that you provide us with your phone number, postal address, and email address as well as the following information:
About our publication
Title and author or editor of the Blue Mountain Arts book or other product from which you wish to reprint. If it is a card, please reference the design number on the back in the lower right-hand corner underneath the price.
The exact material you wish to reprint, including the author of the material in question. If this is an excerpt from a book, please provide the page number on which the material appears.
About your publication
The type of publication you wish to reprint the selection in. If it is a book, please provide the title, name of publisher, format (hardcover, softcover, e-book, etc.), and total number of pages of the publication.
Proposed date of publication.
Retail price.
Number of copies you will be printing.
Territories of distribution for which you require permission (US, US and Canada, world, etc.).
If you are a nonprofit organization, please let us know who will be receiving your publication.
