Authors and Artists :: Pam Reinke

Writer-illustrator Pam Reinke is a dedicated journal keeper, who began her artistic career at the age of 10 when she first used writing and drawing as a way to express her deepest thoughts and feelings. To date, she estimates she has filled more than 50 journals chronicling her loves and losses, her celebrations, and her hopes and dreams. "I am a believer in the reign of grace and human spirit over all things," Pam says.

Pam studied art and education in college and has been a full-time artist and art teacher for more than 15 years. She uses acrylics, tissue paper, watercolors, crayons, handmade papers, and computer graphics and fonts to create her work. She is also an avid lover of animals and the outdoors and is often inspired by "the poetic magic of life in motion."

She says: "I have been fortunate to realize many dreams and to believe so full-heartedly in following your fire."
